The Max Headroom Incident

One of the most bizzare things to happen in TV history was on the night of November 22, 1987, in Chicago. During an episode of Dr. Who on PBS and the nightly news on WGN, the broadcast signal was interupted by this:
This broadcast interruption has remained a mystery ever since. Both WGN and PBS broadcast from the Sears Tower and who ever was behind this need to have technology stronger than the antenna atop the Sears Tower. The incident made national headlines and this was the story from CBS the night after:

Public Access Shows: Not always a Show worth Changing

Public access TV shows are pretty much time slots on television where anyone could pay to talk about anything. What a great opportunity to engage in some interesting conversation with the general public about issues. Right? Wrong! Not for Ken Sander, who thought that his show about gun control in New York would really take off. Well, hilarity ensues. The prank calls are great. Who would think that taking calls live on the air would be a good idea? The stupidity and idiocy that go toward a really bad public access show are always worth watch. Better than most prime time comedy shows. I think this kind of quality TV show is great. So next time it's 3:00 AM and you decide not to turn on TV because there is usually just paid advertisement, think again! Sometimes, the follies of live television prove to be some of the greatest moments on TV. Ask Janet Jackson...

Dateline: To Catch HUGE RATINGS!

I think the TV show "Dateline: To Catch a Predator" should be a regular show. You know, like prime-time television. It was hillarious because it was so humiliating for the idiots who were caught. I think that this show should continue to exploit the terrible and stupid things that pedophiles do just so I could get a laugh Tuesday nights at 8:00. Where have you gone, "To Catch a Predator"? Where have you gone, Chris Hansen? Nothing beats the looks on the faces of people who get caught. Sometimes I would just sit alone in front of the TV and yell "OWNED!!!!" really loud even though no one was around me to hear it. I think everyone misses the show. Come back!!!!!

Office Thursday- Better than thirsty Thursdays

Tonight's episode is guarenteed to be one to watch...well not really. None of us really know what it is about. But still, it's better than whatever you had to do tonight, like staring at the wall. According to wikipidea, which is always right, they say this about tonight's episode:

Michael’s fascination with a woman modeling a chair in an office supply catalog makes him feel things he hasn’t felt in a while. With Michael distracted, Kevin and Andy team up to win back Dunder Mifflin’s stolen parking spaces, forcing them into a showdown with the bosses of the five businesses of the office park.

So be sure to watch that. To be perfectly honest with you, none of us really watch any other shows, so we'll probably just update you on this show.

Also in our blog, we will be posting youtube videos. That's kind of like TV, but better. FO FREE. This concludes our blog for today. Please don't give us an "F".
